Neil Brady, CEO & Co-Founder

Neil Brady is a journalist and academic researcher. He previously worked as Digital Policy Analyst with the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA). Prior to this, he worked for The Guardian and social media agency Storyful. He holds an MA in Political Science from University College Dublin and an MBS in Management & Organisation from the Smurfit Business School.

Conor Brady is a journalist, novelist and academic. He was EditorThe Irish Times between 1986 and 2002, and ChairWorld Editors Forum between 1996 and 2002. He was a Commissioner with policing oversight authority, GSOC, from 2005 - 2011. He has held appointments on a number of state boards and is currently Chair of Ireland’s Top Level Appointments Commission (TLAC). In 2020, he was appointed Honorary Professor of Journalism at NUI Galway.

Eilis Boyle

Eilis Boyle is a UX designer and researcher with a background in content strategy. Previously Eilis was Design and Research Manager at Kinzen as well as UX Design Manager at Dropbox. She has worked as a service design and content strategist for several large companies, including Ryanair. Eilis is a graduate in Applied Languages from the University Antonio Nebrija in Madrid and is an advocate for the importance of language and words in design.

Mariana Nicotera

Mariana Nicotera, Data Annotation Manager

Mariana Nicotera is a computational linguist with extensive experience in text analytics, ontology creation, SEO, NLP, and conversational AI. She has also worked as an editor, copywriter, and translator for language localization and internationalization projects, and has managed data annotation teams at a number of AI companies in the past. She has a BA in Linguistics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and an MA in Media Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Luke Tudge

Luke Tudge is a programmer and data scientist who has been advising and training research groups in medicine, neuroscience, education, and linguistics since 2015. He has worked as an instructor on statistics and data science teaching programs for the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin and the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig. He holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the Humboldt-Universität and an M.Sc. in Research Methods from the University of Reading.

He has also worked as an editor for a range of publications, from freesheets and broadsheets to glossy magazines, international journals, and bestselling books. She lectures and writes on justice and ethics, accountability and trust and the ethics of communication. She has been awarded the Kant Prize, the Holberg Prize and the Berggruen Prize.

He is the founding director of the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics at UCC and the SFI Centre for Research Training in AI. He served as Vice Chair of the European Commission High-Level Expert Group on AI. He is a Fellow and a past President of the European AI Association. He is also a Fellow and a member of the Executive Council of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of the Royal Irish Academy.
